He's been nominated for awards from the Academy of Country Music, American Music Awards, CMT Music Awards, CMAs, Grammys, Teen Choice Awards, and won the Country Music Association Award for New Artist of the Year in 2009 and now he's coming to Binghamton!

In case you missed this morning's big concert announcement, we're super excited to tell you that Darius Rucker's True Believers Tour will roll into town this March.

Darius Rucker, the Eli Young Band and special guest Joel Crouse will all play the Broome County Arena on Thursday March 27th. Tickets go on sale this Saturday January 25th at 10am at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena box office, charge by phone at 800-745-3000 or at Ticket Master.  Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm.

Darius Rucker has been on the music scene since the mid 80's when he formed the extremely popular band, Hootie & The Blowfish. The band released five studio albums with him as a member, and charted six top 40 hits on the Billboard Hot 100. In 2002, Darius released an R&B Album and then in 2008, he signed a record deal as a country musician. In 2009, Darius became the first African American to win the New Artist Award from the Country Music Association, and only the second African American to win any award from the association.

The Eli Young Band has made a name for themselves with "Crazy Girl", which was the top country song of 2011 according to Billboard Year-End, along with "Even If It Breaks Your Heart" and "Drunk Last Night".

Joel Crouse toured with Toby Keith and The Band Perry in 2011 and is working his way up the country music ladder one step at a time.
