We're so bombarded with bad news every day that sometimes we forget about how much good is actually going on in the world, which is why we bring you Good News Monday each week, an opportunity to share the good news in your life and a day when we share good news with you.

Here's a Good News Monday story that's sure to melt your heart. A North Carolina dad made a tiny Iron Man costume for his prematurely born son to help his child "feel brave."

Eric Hart's son Collier has been in the hospital since being born in July and Eric came up with the idea while spending agonizing hours with his son in a neonatal intensive care unit.

“I came up with Iron Man because he’s been hooked up to all those machines and wires, and that’s similar to what Iron Man went through," said Eric.

A video of Eric creating the costume from scratch has been posted and people from around the world have been reaching out to Hart's family to offer their support.
