If you listen to the Hawk Morning Show then you know that we're on a mission to share  more of the good news in the world because it feels like all we ever hear about is the bad.

In North Carolina, a bagel shop worker showed up at her job to discover that her customers put their money together and bought a car for her!

Shirley Ratliff had been taking three different buses to get to work each day. And even though she'd attempted to save up for a car in the past, Shirley was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and the money went toward her hospital bills.

Shirley must be pretty amazing at her job because some of her loyal customers who call themselves "The Shirley Fan Club," wanted to make her commute easier, so they collected money to buy a car for her.

Just before the new year, "The Shirley Fan Club" surprised her with a car – a gesture that she said was truly unforgettable.

"It means the world to me. I love these people," she said. "I just didn't know they would go to this extreme to do something like this."
