Country Music Breaks Records For May 2013

Country music had a huge May thanks to some really hot tunes.  According to MusicRow.com, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) recorded a record 153 digital singles earning certification in May 2013.

What does all this mean.  It means, country music is hot, people are digging the music  and country music artists are getting rich!  98.1 the Hawk is proud to be a part of the success.  Thanks to the HAWK fans in the Greater Binghamton area, country music is hotter than ever.
