The Twin Tiers Honor Flight is set for October 22nd at the Greater Binghamton Airport.  Mission 5 is part of the Honor Flight Network, a non-profit organization created solely to honor America's veterans for all their sacrifices.

It's an amazing way to honor our veterans as they transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect at their memorials. According to their website, "top priority is given to the senior veterans that served from World War II, Korea and Vietnam era veterans, along with those other veterans who may be terminally ill."

The program is an incredible way to say "Thank You" to our veterans. For some, this will be the last trip of their lives. For all, it will be unforgettable. But the expense of making this all possible is something that people in the Greater Binghamton feel good about helping.

Magic City Music Hall in Binghamton is dedicating Saturday (August 20) for a Country Jam For Veterans with local musicians giving of their time and talents, including our 2016 Country Hitmaker Challenge winner Brad Collins and last year's runner-up Brooke Albright, along with some other talented musicians hoping to raise awareness and much-needed funds to make this trip of a life time a reality for our area veterans.

The day is music intensive this Saturday from 2-11 p.m. with all day admission just $15. The National Anthem will be played at 2:05 p.m. with the Mud Hens playing shortly after.  Devon Franks hits the stage at 3:15, the Kitchen Sink Band at 4:15, Rare Breed at 5:15, Jokerzwild at 6:15, Voodoo Highway at 7:15, Brad Collins and Country Attitude at 8:15, Daddy Like at 9pm and Brooke Albright will close the concert playing music from her new album.

Tickets are available in advance at the Magic City Music Hall Box Office in the Northgate Plaza, Upper Front Street in Binghamton and also at the door.
