You might think you're being all super sly when it comes to texting while you're driving. But let me tell you, cops are coming up with newer, more creative ways to bust you for this moving violation.

Here are a couple of the more interesting ways:

The panhandler: Some cops in Canada have started dressing up like panhandlers so that when they come up to your car to ask for money, they can take a good look inside and see who's texting instead of paying attention to the road.

The trucker: Cops are getting a better view from the road of who's fiddling with their phone now that they're driving around in decoy trucks and 18-wheelers.

Your phone records: In the case of a car accident that led to an injury or death, the police can get their hands on your phone records to see if you were texting during the time of the accidents.

Radar guns: There's a company in the process of inventing a radar gun that cops can point at cars to detect the radio frequencies that are emitted from a vehicle when someone is using a cellphone.

I'm thinking maybe it's better if everyone just puts their phones away while driving.
