This Saturday was the one of the most fun weddings we've done! To begin with the venue, The West Branch Angler Resort was beautiful. With the autumn leaves in full color change and the venue itself being a huge log cabin equipped with a back deck over looking the scenery. I decked the hall out with red uplighting, a packed full five foot lighting rig and 3,000 watts total sound system.

The Ceremony was very nice with some guests on the lawn and the rest on the back deck. The weather cooperated perfectly throughout the ceremony and picture session. I had a remote wireless speaker on the back deck as the guests enjoyed light snacks on the deck for cocktail hour. When we moved indoors there were guests in two rooms easily covered by the main system and another wireless speaker in the second room.

After the toasts we all had an excellent... and I mean EXCELLENT dinner provided by J&K Cox Catering(The asparagus was very addicting!). After dinner we did the formal dances and cake cutting. The bride and groom did a very cool activity with the cake cutting by placing jars at the cake table with the brides first name on one and the grooms on the other. Who's ever jar had the most money in it at the time the cake was cut got cake in the face!

When Open dancing began the floor was filled and remained that way for the rest of the evening! What a great group! I have to say A+ for the staff of this venue as well, very nice to work with and did not interfere or hinder the reception at all. I left this event on a high that reaffirms the fact that I love this job! Thank you again Mr. & Mrs. Ellis for inviting me to be a part of your special day!
