The corporate world can be a very cold-hearted and even cruel place, but a child in plight is still something that even stoic corporate brass can't turn their back on.

Brooklyn Faris, a two-year-old girl from Memphis, was suffering from liver failure and in desperate need of a transplant.

Brooklyn's parents Nicholas and Jesse were ecstatic when they learned that a liver was available for Brooklyn, but then their hearts were broken when a storm hit, canceling airline flights and making their trip to Chicago for the surgery impossible.

Except the impossible became possible.

The Faris family reached out to social media to see if anyone could help them rescheduled their flight and help came from a place they never imagined it'd come.

According to The Mighty, FedEx happens to be based in Memphis where the Faris family lives and they stepped in to fly them to Chicago on one of the company’s private cargo planes, and then transported them to the hospital.

Obviously, the family is forever in the debt of FedEx and now, the world knows the story of their daughter and is pulling for her.
