Comedian Rodney Carrington: Giving Back to Those In Need
Not only is Rodney Carrington is one of America’s top selling touring comedians, playing sold out shows all over the country, but he’s also charitable.
The Rodney Carrington Foundation was formed in 2010 to “measurably improve the lives of individuals, families and organizations by uniting the resources of donors, volunteers, agencies and the community” by the the Carrington family.
Earlier this fall, the Rodney Carrington Foundation donated $2,500 to the Helping Hand Ministry. Helping Hand Ministry combines ministry and mission by offering short-term assistance to needy people. Helping Hand has no paid staff or operating expenses – every dollar donated is disbursed in aid of the ministry’s clients.
How could you not want to support someone who gives back to others? You’ll have a chance to support Rodney when he comes to Binghamton on Saturday February 22, 2014. Rodney will play The Forum Theater at 7pm (doors open at 6pm) and tickets are $41 for VIP and $36.50 for general admission. Price does not include applicable service charges.
