Do you remember back when Cole Swindell played a HAWK concert in Binghamton?  At that time, Cole was climbing the charts with what would be his first number one song, 'Chillin' It.'  Since then Cole Swindell has enjoyed three #1 songs ('Hope You Get Lonely Tonight' and 'Ain't Worth The Whiskey' also hit #1) and his current hit 'Let Me See Ya Girl' is pretty close.  Cole is our in-studio co-host Sunday night at 7 for 'Country Countdown USA' on the HAWK.

Back in April, Cole Swindell won the ACM New Artist of the Year. "To date, that was the biggest night of my life. Everybody allowed me to win that trophy, I'm never going to forget that night, that was the most motivating night of my life. The trophy is now with my mom in Bronwood Georgia. I got to get back there and get it back out on the road, because I promised the fans that wherever I am, it's gonna be there, and we can get a picture."

That same week in Dallas, Cole got to sing a duet with Alan Jackson. "I remember as a kid singing Chattahoochee in my mom's Jeep, and then 20 years later I got to sing it with AJ. My favorite part was thanking him for the songs he's written. I was so nervous, and it was cool to feel that nervous, because you get used to a lot of things, but you don't get used to sitting down with Alan Jackson."

Another great memory came in Seattle when Cole did the Big Revival Tour with Kenny Chesney. "My first gig in college, our first song was 'Don't Happen Twice.' I was real nervous, I could hardly breathe. Fourteen years later, in Seattle, Kenny asked me if I wanted to sing that song with him. That memory was 14 years in the making. That's why I'm so thankful, that's why I smile, and why I thank people for letting me do what I do. I hope I can do that for someone someday"

Cole also has great stories this week about Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean, Randy Houser, Tyler Farr, and Florida Georgia Line.
