The change in status for the Cider Mill Playhouse in Endicott is meaning a change in plans for a holiday production.

The theater company has been informed its lease at the Cider Mill on Nanticoke Avenue is not going to be renewed after the current season.

The board of directors had planned to produce A Christmas Carol that could be performed for several years at an investment of close to $40,000.

With the company faced with raising money to secure a new performance space, the directors have decided to instead put on A Charlie Brown Christmas this year at a lower cost.  The production can be performed over several years as well.
