Christmas Ornaments Bring Christmas Joy

Christmas is days away. A day that brings peace on Earth, but it doesn't always work that way. If the hustle and bustle is catching up with you, try what I did.

Sit on the couch and just admire your Christmas tree.

It's amazing actually, all of the different things on the tree. The ornaments: Washington Redskins, Syracuse Orange and Bobby Labonte, just to name a few.

The things that amazed me the most though, were the ornaments made by my kids.  The imaginations they had when creating them.  I remember how proud they were when they put them on our tree.

Something I highly recommend is keeping the ornaments with photos on them.  I also suggest that you put the year on it. It's amazing to see how much they grow from one year to the next. It's like a time capsule!

The ornament with Tara holding her little stuffed dog, 'Spot', wow, she looks so young! It brings back such memories. After a few moments with the tree, the next thing I know, I'm smiling from ear to ear.

Suddenly the day isn't all bad and it feels more joyous.  If you really want to add a special touch to it all, play Christmas music while sitting there. In fact, look at your tree, no matter what kind of day your having!
