An electrician in England has created a Christmas display and I'll tell you what- his display puts Clark Griswold to shame!

It took Alex Goodhind five weeks to decorate his home with more than 180,000 Christmas lights, and the elaborate display even features the occasional visit from Santa and his chief elf.

But the attraction is more than just something for people to look at it during the season. Goodhind uses the display to raise money for the Dorothy House hospice, where his mother was treated before she died.

"Alex does it to help the hospice that looked after his mum. There's a sizable electricity bill afterwards but it's all worth it," Alex’s father, Colin, told the Daily Mail.

Since 2006, Goodhind has raised more than $23,000 for the hospice.
