I've been blessed in my life.  Blessed with an amazing family.  Blessed with a solid group of friends. Blessed with amazing listeners here in Binghamton who've gone out of their way to welcome this new girl into town and made me feel so special.  Although I've known Glenn and John and Rich for years, there's something about packing up your life and starting over that can be scary, but you've all made this transition so much easier for me.

On the Hawk Morning show this morning I mentioned that I felt like a scrooge because while I love the Christmas season, it didn't make sense for me to get settled into my new house only to pack up my regular stuff, then decorate for Christmas and then pack it all up only to put the normal stuff back out all in a month's time. I talked about how I didn't have a Christmas tree and that I was a little sad.

And then a very sweet secret Santa dropped the Charlie Brown tree in the picture above off at the station. I am beyond floored.  The card reads "everyone needs a Christmas Tree." I wish I knew who gave this to me so I could thank them. This is so special.

Whoever you are, you've made this girl smile from ear.  And to every other one of you who've shown me kindness and love, you've each reminded me how a simple act of kindness can change a person's day and I want you to know that I'm doing my very best to pay it forward to others on a daily basis.

Thank you.
