Christian Fellowship Breakfast at DICK’S Sporting Goods Open on Thursday

The DICK'S Sporting Goods Open Week begins today with Nancy Lopez and the Women's Health Expo and Golf Show. There are many other activities this week as well.

One of my favorite things is the Christian Fellowship Breakfast that's going on tomorrow (8/27) morning.

This year, it's hosted by The Golf Channel's Dave Marr III. It's at the Kalurah Building at 625 Dickson Street in Endicott beginning at 7:30.

The panel consists of many fan favorite golfer's including the 2010 DICK’S Sporting Goods Open Champion, Loren Roberts, Mike Goodes, Lee Janzen, and one of my personal favorite golfers, 1996 B.C. Open Champion Fred Funk.

Besides a great breakfast, they will tell the role their faith has played in their daily lives, as well as their golf game.

Tickets are available through the Broome County Council of Churches and at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open Office at En-Joie Golf Course.

You can get a table of 8 or 10 and sit with all of your friends. I somehow found 9 other people to sit with me tomorrow.

Tickets will also be available at the door. It includes admission to the Thursday Pro-Am at the DICK’S Sporting Goods Open.  A free shuttle will be provided.

Anytime that you can talk golf AND have breakfast with Christian athletes, that's a good way to start your day.
