Fast food secret menus have been floating around for years. But they got some extra attention this week when a manager from a McDonald's in Scotland confirmed a few of those secret items are real.

But the downside to this attention is now that people are hot on them, they're ordering them.

One of the most famous secret items is Chipotle's Quesarito. If you order one, they'll make you a quesadilla with two tortillas and cheese, then use that as the shell for your burrito. And they used do it for free. Some of restaurants only use one tortilla for their Quesaritos. I have no idea if two is standard or what, but the staff at Chipotle for all intensive purposes hates the Quesarito. Why? Well, it takes a lot of extra time to make, and screws up their assembly line deal that makes the food come out quickly when there are long lines.

So Chipotle just decided you can't get a quesarito for free anymore. If you order one, it'll cost you $3.50 extra even though all you're getting is one more tortilla and some cheese. Basically you're paying for the labor, not more food.
