As our thoughts wander to the warmer days ahead, we’re also reminded that Easter is lingering just right around the corner and if you’re looking for a way to make this Easter extra fun for your family, you won’t want to miss the Children’s Charity of Greater Binghamton Easter Egg Hunt.

The Children’s Charity Easter Egg Hunt is one of the most attended Easter egg hunts in all of the Southern Tier and that can probably be attributed to the fact that the Children's Charity Easter Egg Hunt isn't just open to the public, but because it's also completely free.

Back for the 7th year, the Children's Charity Easter Egg Hunt will take place on Saturday, April 20th starting at 10:00 a.m. at Recreation Park on Binghamton’s West Side.

Just like last year, this year there will be an unbelievable 20,000 eggs scattered all around Recreation Park and each egg will be filled with candy and other goodies. To keep things fair for the kids, there will be three separate egg hunts- one for ages three and younger, one for ages four to seven and one for kids aged eight to ten. The Easter Bunny will also be on hand all morning to greet children and pose for pictures.

After the kids are done hunting for eggs, help them burn off even more energy by letting them climb, crawl, and explore at OurSpace, the playground at Recreation Park (located near Laurel Avenue) which is actually New York State's largest fully accessible playground!

This year, the Children's Charity Easter Egg Hunt will be dedicated to the memory of Harper Stantz.
