When I was in Endicott this afternoon live on location, I met a little girl who was sharing tears of excitement and joy over the Maine-Endwell Little League playing in the Little League World Series.  She knew everyone's name and was so proud of her school's team.

These guys are sure making all of us proud and it sure is wonderful to say that it's a great time to live here in the Greater Binghamton area, as the entire community in coming together to cheer these gifted athletes on.  There is a lot to celebrate as this is the first Broome County team to advance to the Little League World Series in its 70-year history.

Get your Spartan colors ready to wear if you're heading to NYSEG Stadium Saturday for the Official Watch Party for the Championship Game at 3:30pm.  Thank you Binghamton Mets!  Parking will be free and there will be no admission charges.  There will be limited concessions.
