With the new year comes changes and most likely more expenses for recreational activities.  Changes are coming to hunting and fishing licenses in New York State.  Gone is the option to buy a combo license.

According to the DEC website:

"Starting February 1, annual combination licenses like the Sportsman, Super Sportsman, and Conservation Legacy will no longer be available for purchase. Individual licenses, privileges and permits will need to be purchased instead. Combination licenses that were purchased prior to February 1 will remain valid through September 30, 2014."

Expect Governor Cuomo to talk more about the "changes" coming to sports enthusiasts this week and the anticipated added expenses associated with it all.

So what do you think about all these changes coming?
