Did you know that Earth Fest which is sponsored by Earth Day Southern Tier, is actually one of the longest-running celebrations of Earth Day not only right here in the Southern Tier, but also in the nation?

If you're looking for a way to get your kids excited about our beautiful earth while educating them on how they can help preserve this place we call home, Earth Fest is the perfect outlet to do both. Earth Day is on Monday, April 22nd, but Earth Fest 2019 will take place on Sunday, April 28th at the Suny Broome Student Center from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Earth Day Southern Tier has joined up with SUNY Broome, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, and the Roberson Museum and Science Center for this celebration. Each of those locations will offer an admission discount if you show up with with a stamp from any of the other two venues. If you visit the Roberson or Binghamton Zoo, you'll be able to get in for $2.00 and you'll get free admission to Earth Fest!

At Earth Fest, the SUNY Broome Ecology Club will host a book exchange as well as a clothing recycling drop-off program. They'll also have a display of fuel-efficient cars. You and your family will also enjoy music, magic shows, activities and demonstrations, food, and more.
