Earth Fest, sponsored by Earth Day Southern Tier, is one of the longest-running celebrations of Earth Day not only in the Southern Tier, but in the nation.

If you're looking for a way to get your kids excited about Earth Day while educating them on how they can help preserve their planet, Earth Fest is the perfect outlet to do both.

Earth Day is Friday, April 22nd, but Earth Fest 2016 will take place on Sunday, April 24th at the SUNY Broome Student Center from 10am-4pm.

Earth Day Southern Tier has joined with SUNY Broome, the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park Zoo, Discovery Center and the Roberson Museum and Science Center. Each of the venues will offer a discount if you show up with a stamp from any of the other venues. Admission to just Earth Fest is $1 per person or a donation to CHOW.

At Earth Fest, the SUNY Broome Ecology Club will host a book exchange as well as an electronic and clothing recycling drop-off program. They'll also have a display of fuel efficient cars. You and your family will also enjoy music, magic shows, fun events for the kids and more.
