Another work week ahead and more construction projects to let you know about. The New York State Department of Transportation today announced that construction work for the Prospect Mountain construction project will be performed and will require lane closures in the City of Binghamton and the Town of Dickinson.
This is hands down my favorite time of year. I love cooler temperatures, leaves crunching under foot, comfy sweaters and visiting orchards and that’s exactly where Trip on a Tank took me and my family- to a cider mill and orchard in Fly Creek.
It's November in the Southern Tier. It's cold and windy. A warm day would be in the 50's. Wouldn't you rather be in Nashville for a couple of days? How about seeing your favorite country stars all in one place?
There's nothing like the feel of an autumn in the Greater Binghamton area. While spring was wet and summer was hot and dry, autumn has started out with warm days and cool nights, perfect to get a family day in outside at a close-by park.
As the Prospect Mountain Construction Project continues to make progress, it's time to remove old bridges which means traffic is expected to come to a standstill for a short time on Thursday, September 24th.
