Have you noticed how with each new Halloween, the Binghamton area gets more creative with their natural resources to help spread chill in the air to scare people in to having a great Halloween? Some new fun is happening in Vestal.
This makes me so sad. The world has changed so much since I was a kid. I used to think it was cheesy that my mom made us all pile into her bed when we got home from school and as a family, we'd spend an hour or so talking about our day. That just doesn't happen anymore.
If you're wondering what happened to Boo at the Zoo at Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park, it has a new name called Howloween at the Zoo. That means a little less boo and a lot more zoo for this great visit to Binghamton's popular tourist attraction.
Deposit's 19th annual Oktoberfest will be held this Sunday, October 12th. There will be a free Street Fair on Front Street from 9:30am to 5pm where you can enjoy unique arts and crafts, jewelry and music plus food for everyone.
It's hard to tell if pets enjoy Halloween or not. I know my cats couldn't care either way and I'm sure it's the same for some dogs in our area. I do know pet costumes are big business. If you don't believe me, take a trip to a Binghamton area pet store.
