As we all see the damage and loss that hurricane Sandy has left in her path. Many of us are wondering just where to drop off items for donation or how to help raise money here locally to get those people the help they need. I've compiled a list of donation locations and benefits you can get involved with to help:

Last Sunday was the Step out Walk to stop diabetes. We all gathered in the Oakdale Mall's Center Court for registration and to begin the walk. All of the teams in attendance raised money to help prevent and find a cure for Diabetes
I always try to get more money for the beneficiary by setting a dollar amount goal to have my "volunteers" dance for the crowd. This "Macarena For Money" dance raised an additional $400.00 for Lucy. What a great event for this little one!
