At every HAWK road show last week, the Binghamton buzz was all about country music's biggest night, the '48th Annual CMA Awards', Wednesday November 5th on ABC-TV, Newschannel 34 in Binghamton.

Everybody is excited that Brad Paisley and Carrie Underwood are returning to host country music's biggest night.  So what's it like to host the '48th Annual CMA Awards' for the 7th time?  That's the question Lon Helton will be asking Brad and Carrie Sunday night at 7, as he sits down with them live from Brad's new pub on his farm.

It's been reported that a couple of comedy writers from "late night TV" will be writing some of Brad and Carrie's lines this year and helping with the script.

“‘Script’ is a loose term at this point,” Brad admits. “You’ll see what we came up with… and so will we.”

So how will it compare with previous awards shows hosted by Brad and Carrie?

“I think we’ll feel good about it,” Brad says.

Listen in as Brad and Carrie co-host tonight's 'Country Countdown USA' Sunday night with Lon Helton 7-10pm on 98.1 the HAWK.  Not near your radio?  You can also listen live on 981thehawk.com.

Congratulations to host Lon Helton for again winning the CMA National Broadcast Personality of the Year Award for the 7th time! The award will be presented on November 5th.
