Can “The Phone Stack” Take The Annoying Out of Dinner?

There's a new "game" out that will have the possibility of taking the annoying out of meet ups with friends. The game is this... Everyone stacks their cellphones on top of each other or piles them in the center of the table on vibrate. You must ignore your phone until the dinner or meet up is done. The first person whom cannot resist the urge to grab their phone at the arrival of a text or email will pick up the tab. Now OF COURSE exceptions can be made for the babysitter, work if you are on call, parents and children... You shouldn't be harsh about it.

It's just a great way to get people off of their phones and communicate with words and maybe make some eye contact! I find it very rude to be constantly on Facebook or texting while you and I are trying to eat and have a conversation about our day.

It's socially designed gaming. As you play, you just have to ask yourself, "Is that text message worth the cost of everyone dinner?"
