This is probably way far stretched, but hey- it could be the reason my husband has a full head of hair and not many of the other men in his family do.

Before Jay met me, he’d never really eaten anything other than Pennsylvania Dutch foods. Oh, and chicken fingers and fries (his weakness). One of the first things I did was introduce Jay to different ethnic foods, including Indian and Thai and now the man who once lived in a food bubble is constantly asking if we can try new (to us) foods from different countries.

Even our little boy loves to eat curry (something I ate in ridiculous quantities when I was pregnant) and he's got a gorgeous, full head of hair just like his daddy.

Yoshiko Nakagawa is a Japanese nutritionist and wholeheartedly believes that Japan’s male baldness rate is so much lower than the rest of the world because the guys there eat curry. His thought is that the spices found in curry such as turmeric, saffron, and nutmeg increases metabolism, which makes hair grow.

Obviously this isn’t a proven theory, but if you've got a history of male baldness in your family, it can't hurt to try, right?
