When we first reported the changes happening at the Cider Mill, 2 Nanticoke Avenue in Endicott, I published a story on what could be done to save the beloved Cider Mill Playhouse and that promoted a bunch of listener and reader feedback.  It's clear, people love local theater in the Southern Tier.

I'm happy to report that The Cider Mill Playhouse has experienced a number of sold out shows since the news hit and they are preparing for some exciting new shows, including the opening of 'Baskerville: The Sherlock Holmes Mystery,' running October 27 thru November 13 at the Cider Mill on Nanticoke Avenue in Endicott, and the limited engagement treat of the 6th Annual Halloween Festival, 'Tales From The Script,' this Friday (October 14) and Saturday (October 15).  Tickets for both shows, along with other featured shows are available at the Cider Mill Box Office, or on line at CiderMillPlayhouse.com.

Another great way to show your support of the Cider Mill Playhouse is a fun fundraiser this weekend (Saturday October 15), the second annual gala, Casino Night at the Great Gatsby's, held at the Binghamton Country Club.

Get ready to party like it's 1925, with Jay Gatsby as your host and enjoy an evening of food, drink, fantasy casino gaming, and live entertainment by Cider Mill celebrities to include Jan and Shannon DeAngelo among others. Eric Bill, sleight of hand artist, will be entertaining guests with his wit and card tricks.

Cocktails begin at 6:00 p.m. and the casino opens at 6:30 p.m.  Guests are encouraged to dress in a 1920’s theme.  Tickets are $100 per person.  Reserve your tickets now at CiderMillPlayhouse.com or contact (607) 748-7363.
