This weekend is a big I Love NY weekend where you have a unique opportunity to plan your own "Path Through History" and select where you want to visit and the theme you would like to explore.  What's cool is you can create your own trip by building your own itinerary by visiting the PathThroughHistory website.

On your weekend path you have a chance to travel the Finger Lakes, The Catskills or stay right here in the Southern Tier.  Other regions showing what they've got include: The Adirondacks, Greater Niagra, Chautauqua-Allegheny and New York City.

As you explore your Path Through History, you will learn more about a variety of events that make New York State so great including innovation and commerce, woman's rights, sports, arts, transportation and civil rights.

Here in the Southern Tier, 20 participating locations are highlighted including visits to Little Italy in Endicott, historic museum guided tours of the Roberson Museum and Science Center, along with stops in Windsor and Vestal, Binghamton's archeological past, a visit to the Owego Strawberry Festival, the legacy of Edwin Link and more.

New York State is full of history and it's nice to see that this weekend, all families have a chance to see some of the highlights up close and personal.
