The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team plays host to the Maine Black Bears January 30 at 2:00 p.m. at the Events Center (1:45 on ESPN 1360 AM WYOS).  BU dropped its last game at UMBC 62-51.  The Blacks Bears have won three straight including a home win 61-43 over Hartford January 27.

Coming into the January 30 game Maine is 6-1 in America East and 15-7 overall. The Bearcats are 4-3 in conference games and 9-11 overall.

In the series between Maine and the Bearcats the Black Bears hold a 17-13 advantage including wins in the last six meetings.  Binghamton is led in scoring by Imani Watkins who is averaging 16.7 points per game which is good for fourth place in the conference.  Sigi Koizar is Maine's top gun scoring an average of 16.5 points per game.

The Binghamton versus Maine game is billed as the "Play 4Kay Game" to draw awareness to early detection and treatment of breast cancer.  The Lourdes Mobile Mammography Van will be at the Events Center to provide screenings to fans in attendance.
