I'm truly amazed by the amount talent we have in the Greater Binghamton area.  The popular First Friday Art Walk in Downtown Binghamton always showcases some of the area's best artists in popular art galleries like my favorites, the Orazio Salati Studio and Gallery on State Street in Downtown Binghamton and off the beaten path, the Bundy Museum on Main Street, Binghamton.

But rarely do you have a chance to meet the up-and-coming artists of Binghamton University on the First Friday Art Walk.  Tonight is your opportunity to see some of their best works at 320 Water Street above A Frame Shoppe, 300 feet from the DoubleTree Hotel on the River Walk in Downtown Binghamton.

Binghamton University Printmaking students are showing their art tonight from 6-9pm on the second floor at A Frame Shoppe.  Any prints sold will help raise funds for students to attend the Southern Graphics Conference International in March of 2015.

The SCGI is an annual conference that draws participants nationally and internationally.  The best of the best are represented and with Binghamton University represented, this will allow students to learn the state of the art techniques and will introduce them to professional artists in their field.

Tonight you will be able to see some striking original prints, meet the artists, shop for crafts, and original T-shirts, bake sale items and browse an endless selection of reasonably priced books, including paperbacks and hard covers, yours for a couple of coins.
