Brothers Osborne's Aunt Fay is nothing if not helpful. The duo is hard at work on their sophomore album, and their family member had some suggestions on the direction they should be going.

The Bros revealed the sweet — albeit hilarious — text message they got from Aunt Fay:

While they may not be mixing in a Cha-cha beat, Brothers Osborne have been hard at work on a new rock-country release, which will be the follow-up to their critically acclaimed debut Pawn Shop. They've been sharing glimpses into the studio while they cut songs:

Brothers Osborne have seen much success since releasing their debut album in 2016. Their single "Stay a Little Longer" became their first No. 1 hit, and the band went on to win Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2016 CMA Awards as well as New Vocal Duo/Group of the Year and Vocal Duo of the Year at the 2017 ACM Awards. At the ACM Awards, the duo beat out longtime winners Florida Georgia Line for the coveted award. It marks their first year to win an ACM award, and the guys were shocked.

“What is happening right now? We have the best seats in the house, I don’t even know how we got invited to sit up front,” T.J. Osborne joked as they accepted the prize. “We were sittin’ behind Thomas Rhett and he left, and I was like, ‘Well, there goes our air time.’”

It's not clear when Brothers Osborne's new project will be released.
