Are you looking to find good deals on items while helping to raise money for the local governments?

You'll be able to find them at the annual Broome-Tioga Public Auction. It's this Saturday, September 24th at the Broome County Highway Garage on Thomas Street in the Town of Chenango.

According to GoBroomeCounty.com, the auction lets municipalities and school districts sell used, surplus and not needed supplies, materials and equipment. It also includes cars, trucks, heavy equipment, bicycles, office equipment, recreational equipment and more.

All items are sold as is, with no warranties. It must be removed when the auction is over. The auctioneer will release titles to the vehicles when the buyer’s check has cleared.

Public inspection and registration begins at 8:00 am. The vehicle and equipment portion begins at 10:00 am and the non-vehicle portion will begin around 11:00 am.
