Authorities say 74-year-old Faith Lynch and 29-year-old Jessie Bolster of Windsor have been charged with second-degree hindering prosecution.

According to state police, the women harbored a 14-year-old boy in their home on Fox Farm Road. The youth was wanted for menacing with a weapon in an incident in Windsor last month.

Investigators say the actions by Lynch and Bolster delayed the apprehension of the suspect.

The boy was arrested later and charged with criminal possession of a weapon and menacing. He was sent to a secure juvenile facility as ordered by family court.

Bolster was arraigned in Windsor town court and sent to Broome County Jail. Lynch was issued a court appearance ticket.
