Brad Paisley isn't exactly doing dubstep and dance music now, but he admits he played around with some new sounds for his next album.

Brad told Billboard: "When you hear a banjo through stutter edit, it's the coolest thing you ever heard. I have a song that's a basic love song, it's got a great groove, and I cut this guitar part that gets distorted when I turn the nob up. I would say to Luke, 'Oh, that should've been done 20 years ago, but they couldn't.' The rulebook's gone, or was there ever one? They try, but I don't play by it."

In addition to talking about the cool new sounds we'll hear on his new album, Brad spilled on what he's going to call it: Moonshine In The Trunk. Moonshine In The Trunk is expected to hit stores on August 26th.

Don't forget that Brad is one of the headliners at the Hawk's Taste of Country Music Festival happening June 13th-15th at Hunter Mountain. Brad will perform on Saturday June 14th and you can pick up tickets to his show here.

Oh, and I'm completely speculating, but Brad's tour launches tomorrow and doesn't have a name yet. What are the chances he calls his tour 'Moonshine In The Trunk?'
