Blake Shelton Hosts ‘Healing In The Heartland’ to Air on NBC and 98.1 the Hawk

Reason number 98 to love country music, is how time and time again, country music stars are there to help those in need.

When Oklahoma native invited some of his fellow Oklahomans to join him for a benefit concert for the victims of the Oklahoma tornadoes, he didn't know what to expect.  What he got was a solid 'yes, I'll be there," from Reba McEntire, Luke Bryan, Carrie Underwood, Vince Gill, the guys from Rascal Flatts, even a million dollar contribution from Carrie Underwood. Nice job Carrie.

When tickets for the 'Healing In The Heartland Benefit Concert,' went on sale in Oklahoma City, to no one's surprise, it sold out in 30 minutes.

The NBC special will air live on NBC-TV Wednesday night at 9pm, on 98.1 the Hawk and listen live on 981thehawk.com
