Well the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is open for the season. This Sunday in honor of Mother's Day, all mom's get free admission, go here to find out how you can honor mom at the zoo.

However mom if you have a young one, the zoo has something special for you today.

Beginning today and running on the first Wednesday of every month throughout the summer, it's Stroller Safari. It's a chance to let the little ones explore animals and nature without leaving their stroller.

The Stroller Safari starts at 10am. The  program is designed for 2 to 4 years olds and their parents or guardians. It takes about a hour and a half.

It includes a private tour, zookeeper talk, an up close animal encounter and an activity page to take home with them. No registration is required.

Each Stroller Safari will focus on different animals or section of the zoo. Today the red panda will be featured.
