Yep, school is finally back in session. Now you're trying to figure out what to do with the little ones that are still at home.

Well, let the Binghamton Zoo come to the rescue with the Stroller Safari!

It's a 1.5 hour program that includes a special zookeeper talk, an up close animal encounter, and an activity page to take home.

The first one is on Monday, September 28th in the barnyard. The zookeeper will talk about the barnyard animals and will bring out grain for kids to feed the animals.

Then on Wednesday, September 30th it's the Penguins. The zookeeper will give the penguins their morning fish and bring bubbles for enrichment.

Friday, October 2nd, it's the Andean Bear. The zookeeper will talk about the Andean bear and give her lunch.

Monday, October 5th, it's the Porcupine. The zookeeper will talk about our baby porcupine (born on June 21) and give her morning diet.

Wednesday, October 7th, it's the Red Panda. The zookeeper will talk about the red pandas and give them enrichment items.

The final one is on Friday, October 9th with the Amur Tigers. The tigers will receive enrichment with a zookeeper talk.

It's for children 1-4 years of age and their parents. No registration is required.

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton. The admissions booth is open from 10:00 am - 4:00 pm daily and the zoo closes at 5:00 pm.
