How do we know that Spring is here. Usually it's warmer temperatures. For me, it's when the Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park opens up for the season.

America's 5th oldest zoo is gearing up for many events and it continues this Friday at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena.

It's not only the last game of the season for the Binghamton Senators but it's also Zoo night as they take on the Hershey Bears.

One of their American alligators will be making the ceremonial puck drop. Although it would be interesting to have the gator make the real puck drop and watch the skaters get around him.

The ZooMobile will be there during intermission so you can meet your furry and scaly friends. How would you like to have $2 from your ticket donated to the zoo. Go here and you'll see exciting hockey but help out the local zoo as well.

On Sunday, the Binghamton Zoo will have their penguins at the Pet Expo at the Holiday Inn Binghamton. The Penguins will be there from 1-2pm.

The 141st season begins with the Grand Opening Weekend on April 23rd and 24th. It'll be open 7 days a week from 10a-4p. The Binghamton Zoo is at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton.

Zoo, Zoo let's all get to the Zoo......I think that's how the song goes.
