The Binghamton Zoo at Ross Park is open in November on the weekends for half price. This Saturday is Veterans Day and the zoo is offering free admission to all active-duty, reserve, veteran, and retired members of the United States Armed Forces (with valid military ID).

They may only be open part-time but money is still needed all the time, so they are having a fundraiser to help with the zookeepers’ enrichment fund.

Next Monday, November 13th, it's Wild at Art Paint Night at Uncorked Creation with the Binghamton Zoo. They'll be creating an owl painting and all money raised goes to the zookeepers' enrichment fund in support of buying new toys for the animals.

Uncorked Creations is located at 205 State Street in Binghamton. Registration is required and spots are limited. Register here or contact Rachel at (607) 724-5461 (ext 231).

The Binghamton Zoo is located at 60 Morgan Road in Binghamton and the admissions booth is open from 10 am to 3 pm and the zoo closes at 4 pm.
