It's summertime and it's hot. But before you know it, snow will be flying and we'll be complaining about the cold instead of the heat.

Also before you know it, the Binghamton Senators will be playing at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena. In fact, we are just 2 and a half months away from the home opener...October 15th, in case you were wondering.

That date is one of six guaranteed home dates that we know about already. Want to know the other five? Go here to find out.

The team keeps taking shape for the upcoming season with the announcement of three players that will return to the squad. They are defenseman Chris Carlisle, forward Kyle Flanagan, and goaltender Scott Greenham.

Carlisle was the Rookie of the Year for the B-Sens last year. He played in 65 games last year and signs a one year AHL deal.

Flanagan signed a two year AHL contract. He played in 44 games for the Senators last season.

Greenham inked a one year AHL contract. He skated in six games for Binghamton last year.

The season will be here before you know it and there's been many exciting changes for the team. Can't wait to see ya during Chuck-a-Puck.
