The 28thAnnual Heart Cup is Saturday at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena beginning at 4:30pm.

The Binghamton police department will take on the Binghamton fire department in the annual Heart Cup hockey game, which raises awareness about heart disease and benefits the American Heart Association. Following the Heart Cup the B-Sens go against their rival Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins at 7:05 p.m. The first 1,500 fans through the gates at 6 p.m. for that night’s B-Sens game will receive a coupon for a chance to win a $50 American Express gift card.

The Heart Cup theme will continue throughout the night.  Binghamton police and fire department vehicles will be on display to greet fans as they enter the arena.  Members of the Binghamton police and fire departments will also be on hand to present the colors for the national anthem and will also partake in the ceremonial first puck drop. The American Heart Association will have displays set up on the concourse with healthy food choices, so stop and sample their heart healthy stuff.

Discount tickets can be purchased for $15 and include admission to both the Heart Cup and the B-Sens game.  $2 from each ticket sold through this offer will be donated to the American Heart Association.  For more information or to purchase tickets, fans can contact the B-Sens at 607-722-7367.   Please mention promotional code HEART when ordering.  Offer is only valid at the Binghamton Senators executive office, third floor at the Arena.  I'll be doing Chuck a Puck between the 2nd and 3rd period as well.  So, LET'S GO SENS.
