The Binghamton Senators are home again tonight at the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena.

They'll also be hosting the annual Broome Sports Foundation Auction to benefit the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund this weekend. The silent auction will take place on the main concourse. Over 100 items will be up for bid. Items in the auction include autographed hockey jerseys, equipment, framed photos and much more. A complete list of auction items for tonight can be found by visiting www.binghamtonsenators.com.

The Scholarship Fund was created in memory of Tommy Mitchell and dedicated to supporting the youth of the Binghamton community. The Broome Sports Foundation is a non-profit organization and the charitable arm of the Binghamton Senators. The Broome Sports Foundation sponsors the Giving Kids an Edge Program and the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship Fund that is awarded each year to graduating student athletes in an effort to help them further their education.

The Broome Sports Foundation has awarded over $100,000 to local student athletes to help further their education. Since the beginning of the Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarship fund in 1992, 82 local student athletes have been awarded scholarships. The B-Sens play the Albany Devils tonight.  Face-off  at 7:05.
