It was a big win last night for the Binghamton Senators.  They defeated the Albany Devils 5-2 (Sausage biscuit for everyone in attendance.)  Of course the Senators will beat down the Devils on Faith and Family night.  They are also just 2 points behind Syracuse for first in the East.  The Sens have also played 1 less game than the Crunch.

Tonight they look to make it a weekend sweep at home against Hamilton. It's also Parrot Head Beach Party Night with the Pirates of the Susquehanna Parrot Head Club. Beginning at 6, it's a pre-game party on the concourse with Dos Guys performing til  7 p.m. and fans are encouraged to visit the tiki bar for island drinks.

The Pirates of the Susquehanna Parrot Head Club will be on the concourse raffling off gift baskets throughout the night. All proceeds from the raffle benefit the Binghamton Vet Center and Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. There also will be a post-game beach party on the concourse featuring the Susquehanna Rum Runners, the region’s premiere Jimmy Buffet tribute band.

Also tonight, the Broome Sports Foundation will present the 2013 Tommy Mitchell Memorial Scholarships in a special pre-game ceremony.  Six local high school and college students have been chosen as 2013 recipients; Melissa Ash (Junior, Buffalo State College), Joseph Eiskant (Vestal High School), Andrew Schutt (Vestal High School), Colin Szymanski (Maine-Endwell High School), Matthew Wagner (Vestal High School) and Robert Wassel (Vestal High School).

Get there early and get a Thunderstix. Face-off is at 7:05. To find out about more about tonight or any other B-Sens happenings go here.
