Another race will highlight the City of Binghamton and help out our furry friends.

Water Street Brewing Co. and Triple Cities Runners Club are teaming up to put on the 3rd Annual Beers and Beats 8k Sunday June 3rd in Downtown Binghamton. This run will help benefit two animal rescues: Every Dog's Dream as well as Pibbles and More Animal Rescue.

This event is so much more than your typical race. Not only will it feature an 8k course throughout Binghamton, but will also include a Hound Dog Dash where runners can run alongside their dogs. An Ankle-Biters Fun Run is also planned.

The streets of Binghamton will be flooded with activity after the race as well. Post-race activities will include a beer tent featuring brews from Water Street Brewing Co. and of course time to hangout with dogs and creatures of the like.

Registration for the 8k is $15 until May 18th. Registration forms for the 8k, Hound Dog Dash, and Ankle-Biter Kids Fun Run can be found here.
