Binghamton Restaurant Week is winding down but it’s not too late to grab lunch or dinner today in one of the several participating Binghamton eateries.

Yesterday I decided to try something different for restaurant week, so my co-worker Randy and I went to Citrea Restaurant & Bar, 7 Court street Suite #3 in downtown Binghamton.

The hostel Lindsay greeted us and brought us to our table, Calvin our waiter was very friendly and took our order, even the owner Vicky came over and introduced herself to us, what a great vibe and we hadn’t even tasted the food yet.

My appetizer was the Tomato Soup served with bacon, croutons and green onions, fresh and very good.

My Entrée was the Salciccia Pizza with pepperoni, sausage, tomato sauce and fresh mozzarella cheese, very good, I love the dough.

Dessert was something called Zeppoles, it was like small round fried dough with cinnamon and Nutella, I have never tasted anything like it, it was very good, I could have just ordered a plate of that.

BInghamton Restaurant Week (March 21st through March 30th) is a great way to support local business and enjoy a really nice meal.

Each participating restaurant will offer a three-course meal for lunch or dinner that features an appetizer, an entrée’ and a dessert.

Today is the last day do make some lunch or dinner plans with your spouse, friends or family members and support local business during Binghamton Restaurant Week.
