Well, Binghamton Restaurant Week is winding down.  Don't miss out on awesome food for a wonderful cause from local merchants.

Traci and I had the opportunity to go to Gallagher's Irish Pub on Monday evening.  I want to thank Heather and Mary Jo on a wonderful experience.  I want to thank Traci as well.  She had the Monteray Jack Chicken Breast with Mushrooms, Bacon (surprise, surprise) and Jack Cheese.  So why am I thanking her....She was full after the main course, that I got to enjoy her Grandma's Irish Whiskey Cake.  Heather told me that her grandma is the one that makes the cake.  She makes it a couple of days ahead and lets the Irish Whiskey soak into it. YUM YUM.

I had the Pecan Encrusted Cod Filet with the Chocolate Chip Cake, also Yum Yum.  You can see their Binghamton Restaurant Week Menu below.  One of the questions that I've been asked in the past is: Can I bring kids to eat here?  Yes you can.  In fact, Tara was very disappointed that she couldn't join us on Monday.  I made her happier when I told her I would take her with me next time (once again, making me the best daddy ever.)

Binghamton Restaurant Week ends on Thursday.   The Restaurants are offering 3 course lunches for 10 dollars and 3 course dinner for 25 dollars or less.  Partial proceeds from the event benefit the Boys & Girls Club.  So stop by one of the participating restaurants and let them know that you support them and Binghamton Restaurant Week.  To find out more about the event and the restaurants that are involved go here.
