I love it when a week is 10 days long when it's Binghamton Restaurant Week.  It goes til Thursday the 21st.

Binghamton Restaurant Week is not just food, it is an event. It's an event that supports and shows off our local restaurants . Best of all, it supports the Binghamton Boys and Girls Club.

During Binghamton Restaurant Week, the participating restaurants are offering 3 course lunches for $10  and 3 course dinners  for $25 or less. To find out more about Binghamton Restaurant Week and those involved go here

Tonight at 4, Traci and I are dining at Gallagher's Irish Pub, 92 Robinson Street. Their special menu for Binghamton Restaurant Week  is:

First Course Choices

All entrees include tossed salad or soup du jour, roasted rosemary potatoes & vegetable

Irish Stew:  Slow-cooked lamb with parsnips, carrots, potatoes, onions and Guinness.  Slow-cooked lamb with parsnips, carrots, potatoes, onions and Guinness. 

Monteray Jack Chicken Breast: Topped with mushrooms, bacon and Jack cheese.

Pecan Encrusted Cod Filet:: pan seared then oven broiled and topped with beurre blanc sauce.

Second Course Choices

Grandma’s Irish Whiskey Cake, Chocolate Chip Cake, Banana Cake with cream cheese frosting
