The community is invited to celebrate the lives of Christina Rumpel and Mario Masciarelli this Wednesday at 7:30pm at Binghamton's Recreation Park.

Christina and Mario were the victims of a double homicide.

Authorities discovered two bodies in a house in the town of Binghamton at about 12:30 p.m. Friday.   Broome County Sheriff David Harder, announced in a press conference that 20 deputies and investigators are working on the case.  The only person of interest to date is Rumpel's husband, Aaron F. Powell, whom she had been separated from.
