Binghamton Police Searching for Sex Offender

Binghamton City Police are on the lookout for William Backus, a risk level 3 sex offender who is wanted on an arrest warrant from Binghamton City Court for failure to register as a sex offender.

William Backus is a 45 year old white male, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 202 pounds with brown hair and blue eyes.William has a scar on his back and left shoulder and a tattoo on his right and left arms. According to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice, William's last known address was on Meadow Street in Binghamton.
