Binghamton Mets Take On Altoona On Triple Play Monday

Congratulations to the Binghamton Mets as they picked up their 50th win of the season when they defeated the Trenton Thunder 5-4.  It's the first time in the franchise's 22 year history they have picked up their 50th victory before July 1st.

They end June by going 19-5 for the month.  It ties them with the fewest losses in a month, it's been done twice before.  They begin July with a 3 game set at NYSEG Stadium against the Altoona Curve (Double A Pittsburgh Pirates).

Tonight is Triple Play Monday, where all fans can get a ticket, hotdog, and small soda for only $7.00.  Tonight's first pitch is at 6:35. Tuesday night is Two for Tuesday. Coke and select draft beers are 2-for-1. First pitch is also at 6:35.

Wednesday night get ready for Independence Day at the ballpark.  It's a We Win Wednesday. If the Mets win (and they've been winning a lot) then every fan gets a free  ticket to a future Binghamton Met game. Get there early for the first ever hotdog eating contest and see if you can eat the most hotdogs in Binghamton. Then stick around after the game on Wednesday for a firework show with a double grand finale.

Also on Wednesday, the Binghamton Mets players and coaches will be wearing special patriotic jerseys that will be auctioned off after the fireworks. The proceeds from the auction will go to the Southern Tier Veterans Support Group. First pitch is at 6:35.
